Human eyes in game have no pupils. /SOLVED

Started up the game. I love it so far. Encountered a bug where everyone's eyes are reflective/white and have no pupils. what setting do I need to change?
OS WIN11
ram 64 gb
nvidia geforce rtx 4050laptop gpu
amd ryzen 9 7940HS (16 cpus) ~4.0ghz

EDIT: added the word human to the title since a few jokers showed up.

try lowering the video memory from 2000 to 1500 in video settings

tried lowering the vram, toggling hdr, lowering fov, went through all vsync settings. nothing helped. oh well.

Try using -dx11 on launch options.

thank you for the suggestion. all this did was make all eyes pure white instead of semi-reflective.

I'm having the same issue
with the exact same GPU(Nvidia GeforceRTX 4050 Notbook series), 32GB of ram, windows 11, and an intel i7 13th gen CPU.
so slightly worse specs

Pure white is normal even without black in the centre.

thankfully its not a game breaking bug. just annoyingly silly.

same here. think it might be if you have less then 8gb of vram, i also got some weird flashing in the second level i couldn't get rid of no matter what I tried. I was able to get through it but yeah. stinks because other then those two things game is perfectly fine for me even if i have to play at 720p at medium settings

knowing how they handled indiana jones optimization for lower end machines i doubt they'll actually have a patch to fix this but i can only hope. it's such a small thing it'd be nice to fix bc it takes me out of the cutscenes otherwise
