Game runs like hot garbage
I could maybe, just maybe, buy the argument that my 5900X and 7800XT are only good for 60fps, and that's fine, but holy hell is the stuttering ridiculous.

Nothing but heavy stuttering and 50-60fps average at 1440p native, no matter which video preset. Low all the way to Ultra Nightmare all yield 50-60fps, and GPU usage is incredibly spiky.

I'm on an RTX 4070, I can run ultra graphics at 60+ fps on 1440p, but again it feels super stuttery when I'm looking around. I keep playing with sets and I'm not finding anything to reduce the stutter feeling other than motion blur. and that doesn't help that much either.

lol your PC is hot garbage, not the game. I'm near locked at 110fps with everything fully maxed out at 4k with HDR, DLAA, 2x frame gen running on 13900k/4090 w/ today's driver update.
Works on my machine! Consider upgrading your PC if you can’t run it

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues, hopefully soon a patch and a driver will be released that will fix the issue for you. I feel bad saying this, but I'm actually really shocked on just how well the game is playing for me on my 4090 OC (To the point I'm honestly scared I will jinx it). I am currently got everything set to Ultra Nightmare setting and I am getting up to 230fps at 3440X1440. :mimir_shock:
i have my frame rate cap at 120 at 1440p and it running smooth as silk for me

I don’t want to burst your euphoria bubble, but 110 fps with FG is considered suboptimal, especially in a fast-paced shooter where lower input delay matters. I have the same specs as you and I'm definitely frustrated by this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ performance lol

i have a 4060ti (8gb), 32gb's of ram (ddr5) and a ryzen 5 7600x (6 cores)
i can play the game on max settings (ultra nightmare graphics) on 2560x1440 resolution!
(at consistent 50-70fps)

what i did was,,,

borderless windowed
vertical sync off
present from compute on
dlss balanced
frame gen off
nvidia reflex off
texture pool size 1536 (lowest)

Im on 7900xtx with 24gb of vram, and strong cpu from amd too, 96gb ram and fast nvme drives. Im getting constant 120fps (frame locked in drivers to 120) with 1440p, HDR on, and all settings on ULTRA NIGHTMARE. Plus everything working quiet and cold.
Game is greatly optimized.
It's not competitive multiplayer and my rig is connected to my big screen oled in my man cave (LG G1), which maxes out at 120, which perfect for me. Zero complaints.

I'm on a RTX 2070 with a i9 9900k. After clearing the first level with the graphics settings changed to high instead of low (didn't touch anything else) and turning on performance metrics, I had playable framerates that didn't dip below about 40 FPS altho the CPU measurement was CONSTANTLY YELLOW. I would say it can be played with a i9 but I hope there are performance improvements that can be made down the road to help with the CPU side.

Apologies for your disability, as you clearly can’t read. He said he has a 7800XT. The game runs like ♥♥♥♥, bud.

Maybe he should look for amd drivers, maybe they suffer like nvidia drivers? I had few freezes with 576.40, installed old ones and played for 9h straight not a single freeze or stutter.
Most technical reviews have had nothing but good things to say about how well the game actually runs. Most likely if you're experiencing severe stuttering, freezing, or other performance related issues then it's a problem on your end.
Weird it doesn't stutter for me at all (RTX 4070 TI Super, i7-14700KF 32GB running on 1440p maxed dlss quality) and I'm currently in chapter 9. There must be something wrong with your pc setttings or configurations.
