Anyone having issues?

I press play on DOOM: The Dark Ages, it then tells me about updating my drivers, then all of a sudden I hear the game's music... but the game application has not opened for me to interact with the menu or anything.... all I can hear is the music and that's it. Been waiting 16 minutes now in hopes this will open up..

For a single-player only game, for £100... there's no excuse for this to happen unless its gross negligence from Bethesda... what did I expect... gaming in 2022-onward has been a disaster.

Might just refund my game and get it for like... £20 or something from a different website. Least then I will get my £100 for other games coming out...

If you have a number of monitors I wonder if DDA is trying to open on the wrong monitor. I have 5 monitors. 3 on my 4080 and 2 on igp. Eternal will constantly try to open on the wrong monitor. Is anyone trying to start it on a single monitor and still having the issue?

I actually thought of this myself. I turned off all my monitors (I only use 3), pulled the wires out of my PC to make sure, went on Nvidia to make sure they were off also settings wise.

I can confirm - its not trying to open on the wrong monitor either. I am about to give up... honestly.

I did as someone said on reddit. Unplug your first monitor because the game will try to open on your second one. You can plug it back after the game is on your screen.

According to Bethesda - they fixed it but I can say this, no they did not

I can't get it to open the game, once i try launching it, all it does is give me the bugsplat error

How did you get past the previous issue? (Audio playing but game won't open). I still haven't managed to even get into the game lol.

Some people have gotten in. Bethesda said they "fixed the issue" in their recent DOOM:TDA post.

Some people are just lucky and got in right away, then you have the people that got in and their game is crashing over and over.
