Doom Early Access confused

in EDT got my collectors now and i saw that early access starts at 8pm edt today but it says available may 14 on steam after the pre download....

The Steam date DOES NOT show the early access date. This is normal.

the steam store page does show when the game will be unlocked for those with the premium edition. which should be in under 2 hours from now.
otherwise in your library it will always show the release time for the standard edition of a game. at least that's what i know.

Usually, journalists will receive the early access code for review purposes.

Not journalists, many random people, mostly russians are already playing.

For a global release this shouldn't happen but clearly they've being favoured as theirs has unlocked already.

Store page shows the Premium edition advanced access time, but it's in the gold text where you can buy the premium version, NOT where the normal timer is. The normal timer will ALWAYS show the standard version's release time. It'll be released for advanced access in 2 hours 18 mins from this post.

There is no street date. This is STEAM not a disc.

For some reason Steam must have accidentally released the game in certain regions. There are certainly quite a few people who are now playing the game that technically shouldn't be.

It has two editions, early access is under the normal release date. It's not confusing, people just aren't paying attention.

When we were talking about this issue the early access hadn't even started yet. Some people in certain regions had their game released early.
