forced ray tracing, forced TAA, devs suggest using upscalers
lol I guess PC gaming is now console gaming since we're relying on upscaling on the quality (66% of your native res) to help """""""fix"""" and """""optimize""""" performance. Thanks PConsole gamers!

game would run significantly better if they used pre-baked lighting like previous doom games which ran excellently on PC. It's an industry-wide issue. I have a 360hz oled for a reason, not to put up with pleb 50fps like you will be doing lmfao you may as well play the game on a series S

because studios shouldnt be offloading their JOB to the end users equipment. why the hell can't they just make the game themselves like before instead of pushing out hot garbage and having the endusers pc ai upscale it into relative playability?

Thanks for your concern, I have a 5090 and a 9950X3D so, I think I'll be okay, Continue whining instead of just enjoying the game like the rest of us.

Finally someone talking sense. It doesn't matter how good your computer is, this is a major issue. People should be complaining about the piss poor performance whether they have a 5090 or a 2080ti. It doesn't matter. Bad performance is bad performance.

Yep, and at best the people talking down on others trying to tell them to "upgrade their toasters" are running on, at best, mid-range 2020-2022 hardware. Nobody is impressed by the fact that he has a 4070 ti at best, or that he will settle for 60fps at 66%scaled res of 1440p (lower than 1080p in pixelcount) because he personally doesn't "notice the difference". Low IQ blind consumers are part of the issue with this industry, and devs too - we have graphics engineers soiling themselves over realtime lighting with RT despite it dragging literally everything else about a VIDEO GAME down.

The RTX cards are six years old, maybe it's time to ditch that junk and build a proper PC?

I understand nothing I say will convince you. (but I also haven't the slightest clue what you're asking for in a timestamp) Either way, I understand you are projecting your own inadequacy, which is fine, I'll let you know how the game runs. (since you don't own it anyways)
