120 Euro for a year to play all new games. Or you can buy every game for 80 bucks
At least with keys/retail you've got all the accessibility to the game regardless of ownership
Edit: To add, I got the premium edition with DLC + Early Access for 82€. With all the stuff I mentioned before, it's easily worth that money.
People spend so much money on stuff that will entertain them for maybe 1-2 hours only (like a visit in the cinema), so 80€ for something that will entertain me for probably 100+ hours is more than fair.
People come back, I for one will reinstall a game if I'm in the mood. It's more comforting to know I can put the game down for a year and come back and it's still there. Than say resubbing to game pass and the games I wanted to play aren't there anymore
Lets be honest here. Most perople dont touch a singleplayergame again after playing it
Maybe you don't but I'm quite sure a lot do, me included.
Paying for GamePass gives me access to the game at the discretion of a monthly price tag.
Pretty simple choice for a Doom fan.
It's also good to support developers that put out quality products. Imagine if every single person paid for GamePass, where would the industry be if Microsoft had that kind of leverage on dev studios?
