EDIT: Game is out for everybody, yet nothing has improved for this game. Wait for a Deal or go to GamePass.

Any Doom game has the obligation of be 90+ score, period. Yet, even with being multiplatform and Bethesda giving way too many freebies and goodies to reviewrs, DOOM The Dark Ages still managed to FAIL to reach the minimum threshold to be a regarded as a "good" game. As of right now in my original post:
- 85 on Metascore https://www.metacritic.com/game/doom-the-dark-ages/
- 86 on Opencritic https://opencritic.com/game/18023/doom-the-dark-ages
Oh well, disappointing, as expected, including the fact Mechs and Dragons sections are inded forgettable, bloated and simplistic world exploration, and game is too console-friendly, yet not as messy as DOOM Eternal was.
Therefore, whoever pre-ordered this game, I suggest you to refund """DOOM""": The Dark Ages and wait for a deal.

Why 90?, 85 and above is really good, this is not Civ 7 or Assassins Creed Shadows.

You admitted I have succeded in making my point, although I am not missing anything since I will have Youtube to watch the most relevant parts then playing this game on PC GamePass afterwards.

I think I will buy Redfall on the next deal.

Every review video I've seen says it has been extremely fun. I don't want to watch them all due to spoilers but I've seen nothing but positive. Sure it might be short and tbh $100 is a complete rip off but whatever. I already took off Tuesday so it is what it is.

Doom game can never have a 7 - 8 grade, it is not acceptable, especially after Microsoft funded this so-called "DOOM" game. Unless you are indirectly admitting this game is not worthy of being called "Doom", then 7 - 8 becomes more adequate.
