32gb ram recommend
is this too much for a shooter game? how did they even bloat the game enough to require 32gb ram? game doesn't even look good... :steamsad:

And since 2015 it wasn't ever necessary to have 32GB of RAM.

it never hurt, either, quite the opposite, 32gb ram is very useful to have

this isn't the first game to require it and there's no excuse not to have 32gb ram nowadays, 16gb is like the bare minimum for aaa games now

which doom? this doom requires 32gb

it's really funny how the "pc master race" keeps complaining about hardware requirements, it seems like most of you are playing on hardware that's weaker than consoles

32GB really isn't that expensive these days. You can find a good DDR5 kit for about £80.

Then play games that don't need it. I don't want to hear "rewrite your code" because file sizes are increasing past the 2015 standard size.

Ya, the irony is insane. It's either "PC master race" or its "PC never needs upgrading". It's not both.

Its not just the game, its keeping the OS from crashing while it does dozens of things as the game runs. Its so people can stream the game and have 5 browser windows open and spotify running and a discord chat while they download torrents.

Y'all are spoiled with multitasking. Insert old guy rant about how much better computers are nowadays, roll your eyes and move on.

thats why i think you should have 64. thats what i bought. i could buy 32 but then there is that idiotic rule that you need all ram sticks to be from the same kit. yep. that wasent the case in the past. so, yep 64 is what i would recommend you. just so you wont have to buy it twice
