For people concerned about Denuvo
As the title suggests, If you're concerned about Denuvo, I totally understand — I'm not a huge fan of it either. But the good news it's probably not going to stick around forever. Bethesda removed Denuvo from DOOM Eternal about a year after launch, and it's likely they'll follow a similar pattern with DOOM: The Dark Ages. So while it's definitely frustrating in the short term, chances are it won't stick around forever (hopefully).

Makes me feel better. Thank you.
Sorry to burst your hope bubble but if I remember correctly, during the launch of DOOM Eternal someone severely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and the game was launched without DRM. By the time they updated the game to re-add Denuvo, it was already too late, and the game had been cracked/tampered with immediately. Bethesda/id Software did not have a reason to have Denuvo anymore after that.

Devs often prefer to have Denuvo active for their games until they become relatively old and outdated, example of this is Capcom, whom games always have Denuvo active just until the release of a new one.

Need to bump this to get more people to be aware. It's unfortunate but it's not the end of the world. Hopefully they remove it after a reasonable amount of time

Another example being id themselves who always remove Denuvo.

TDA will be the only game in id's catalog with Denuvo when it releases. They are very good about making sure it gets removed - when support for the game ends or sooner.

In order to worry about piracy, these publishers should have a game worth pirating.
Most of these denuvo eNhAnCeD games are not worth the time spent on them even if they were freely available and installed on your platform of choice.
