FRAME-GEN
frame-gen is excellent in this game, hardly any input lag...hardly see any ghosting. probably the best frame-gen i've seen so far is tda and cyberpunk.

This is one of the few newer games that I don't even have to turn it on. I wish they would make their engines more accessible to other developers. There's only a handful of shops that are willing fork over the cash for it. Especially now with being able to put together a proof of concept in the other big engine for no upfront cost.

They are literally fake frames.

yup frame gen feels great zero ghosting running 1440p 3440x1440 oled at 180 fps on max setting smooth as hell - pun intended excellent engine
oh yay blurry bad pixelation in my precision fps game...
no one has ever made an argument for frame gen that doesn't boil down to being to lazy to improve performance yourself.

because it`s already runs at 50-60FPS. Frame Gen is working good only in scenarious when you already have a high base framerate, anyway PT launched in a day or two, turn it on to get 20-30FPS and then use FG...you`ll see for yourself.

FAKE FRAMES is not performance, ti`s interpolation

Since the frame-gen/upscaler experience scales directly with the class of hardware being used, and the vast majority of users are 60 class owners, this contributes to the public perception paradigm that it sucks but in reality it's amazing technology on the 80 class and above gpus.
Frame-gen with a high base frame rate paired with a high refresh OLED with VRR/G-Sync has almost indistinguishable latency added (few milli secs). I tend to avoid the lossier forms of upscaling and roll with DLAA if possible but low latency frame-gen on better hardware is sublime.

I'm a fan of framegen across many titles, but I tried it here to hit locked 140 and I can notice the input delay, enough for me to not use it. Probably the worst candidate for FG, if you play like me with extremely snappy mouse movements. 100-120fps will do just fine for me

or it just makes everything look like a pixel mess from hell.
I noticed ghosting the moment I turned it on. Have a 7800XT, and the game REQUIRES FSR, and Frame Gen to get 60 FPS. looks FAR worse than DOOM 2016 with those settings on.

Wish frame gen would cap game like it should with reflex enabled. Chilling at monitor refresh rate with it on (too many frames) and raising input lag
