[Suggestion] Ability to swap melee weapons like guns with hotkeys.
The reason I'm making this request is because it gets rather cumbersome having to tab all the time just to cycle from one melee option to another whether in or outside combat. I get that melee weapons after switching have all their charges reset, but either way during combat sometimes you want or need to cycle depending on how the fight progresses, and having to tab out just to do that just interrupts the flow of combat in my humble opinion. Outside of combat, just not having to access the tab menu all the time to switch before combat starts would be another plus.

You can switch melee weapons during combat anyways, it just requires pressing the tab key. I just want a hotkey that can do it without needing to navigate the menu.

I agree. They must have thought about this as a possibility but decided against it for whatever reason. I'd like to know the justification for it, because if you could easily use different weapons it would add a new layer of tactical choice
Would be nice and I don't see any reason not to let us do it. It would tactically function the same as it does now except you don't pause the game.

True, personally I'm not interested in going into the menu during battle so I just use one weapon at a time
They want you to use the shield and power bash more I assume, I use them alot.

So you wouldn't have to go into the menus to change weapons if each weapon was available to be set to a specific hot key in the keybindings, correct? And you cant do that? I am glad I waited then.

Yeah basically. Like right now if you're in a situation where the gauntlet would be better than the flail or mace you have to pause the game which seems rather disconnected from what you're doing on screen.

I guess it works the same way as runes did the previous games, but these are actual weapons and there's only 3 of them.

The more I think about it, I would also propose adding a keybinding for weapon mod switching, that would bring up a UI wheel for the current mods you have available for your currently selected weapon. Same for switching shield runes as well. The less pausing the better in my opinion.
