Maybe someday in the future someone will find a config tweak to reduce it, but even then the environments are covered in it, especially in Hell.
That being said to be more wholesome and give you some solace. There are usually modders and modding communities that either figure out how to mod the game themselves or with help form the devs like in eternal. But that usually comes after years of the game being out. And it's not always garunuteed.
Someone can say "This isn't the game for you." and that isn't being a jerk. It is just direct and honest. Just because you don't like the answer, that doesn't mean it is rude.
Not all games are meant for everyone. Gore has been part of Doom since its inception back in the 90s. The odds of the developer adding or including a low gore mode is highly unlikely.
It's like going to a steak house and asking for a soysteak
