I know a lot of people are having issues, but let's face it, this is the next "Crysis"
My specs
Video: Sapphire 7900xtx (24GB RAM)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
MB: ASUS TUF GAMING X870-PLUS
RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB Series DDR5 32GB
I'm sure there are people having issues with worse hardware, but game is running amazingly for me. For reference (even though I'm sure anyone with these specs knows the game will run fine, but just in case)
Ryzen 5 5600G
32GB RAM
7800XT
M.2
Running an FPS counter on the 2nd mission gives a pretty stable 70FPS at 2k (2560x1440p)
This is in a big outside area and has a decent amount of enemies.
Overall, having completed the first 3 missions. Game is smooth and gameplay is sick. highly recommended.
7900x3d CPU, 32Gb RAM, 7900xt GPU, NVME storage. 4k OLED monitor.
Games run consistently above 60fps using ultra nightmare graphics settings, 3840x2160 but FSR set to quality with a 110 FOV, HDR turned on. (I haven't turned on FG).
I've finished the first 5 chapters so far and the experience has been amazing with it continuing to ramp up the intensity and fun.
I do have one gripe though and it has to do with sound/music which seems to have some issues that could do with a fix. (Chapter 5 highlights one sound issue)
This game is excellent, It feels like a new iteration of Doom and I am happy the developers gave us something more like Doom 2016 than Doom Eternal. Doom Eternal is a good game, but this is much closer to the Doom I want to play.
The Pulverizer is just stupid so far, its less effective than any of the other guns, maybe upgrades will help it. But a gun that chomps up skulls to send the shards at the bad guys...ANYTHING else would make a better weapon for a civilization that can strap energy wings on a dragon and send it into the sky...Its dumb....To find it in a lab....dumb.
I was afraid I'd hate the shield, but its winning me over.
