Game freezes

Game froze for the second time in 25 minutes or so. Tried to install the AMD drivers with no luck. EDIT: Of course I'm not running FSR frame gen nor I am "alt-tabbing a lot". Matter of fact I'm never alt-tabbing.

First time had to force shut down the whole PC, second time had to end Doom task.

don't know about AMD but still, try to downgrade your drivers' version. and for this

i take it you are on Win10 and i guess you couldn't alt tab to other apps like in old games when they freeze. if so, you can hit Win + Tab, click "Create desktop" in the top left corner, hit Ctrl + Shift + Esc, finish game's process and go on 1st desktop.

No sorry I'm on Windows 11 with Nvidia 50 series and the pinned thread says to "upgrade AMD iGPU drivers" to avoid persistent crashes at startup.

The Doom FAQ also mentions possible freezes when alt-tabbing and using FSR frame gen, which I am not using in the event any dev sees my post
