i5-9600k Will it run?
im wondering if this game will run with my cpu or if i should hold out for now

My old PC was similar, i5-6500 and it had trouble running Frostpunk 2 so probably not.

You'll need a GPU to play it. The iGPU on the i5 won't cut it.

you can turn off raytracing in the files tested on 17 4790k an gtx 770 2gb card.

Graphics: NVIDIA or AMD hardware Raytracing-capable GPU with 8GB dedicated VRAM or better (examples: NVIDIA RTX 2060 SUPER or better, AMD RX 6600 or better)
Storage: 100 GB available space
Additional Notes: 1080p / 60 FPS / Low Quality Settings, NVME SSD storage required

You can check minimum spec on the store page. Core i7 10700K or better is MINIMUM.

You should upgrade. Really. Did it myself before MH Wilds from 9700k to 9800X3D and especially on cpu heavy games its like night and day.

Not really important.

Basically you have K or KF which means either integrated GPU or not.

Just buy whichever.

Just use the return policy and find out for yourself? Or it's on gamepass tomorrow. But you need a strong gpu as well it will not run on onboard gpu that's for certain.
