Worth getting?
I'm really on the fence about getting the game especially the collector's edition since it looks so cool. What do you yall think?

buy it if you can
if it's anything like Doom eternal, and not 2016, bigtime pass. Not high hopes for this, but ill follow it anyways. Doom 2016 set the standard.

Personally Eternal was better than 2016 imo since there was more replayability with the master levels and modded master levels, the combat is also super fun and engaging when you get in the zone and just shredding through the hordes of demons.

Well the Mick Gordon situation and how they handled it is my main issue, plus them not having glory kills is kinda of a pushaway as well

Maybe so, but I felt it was too much like Super Mario in hell.

Every doom game has platforming.

So you didn't like Eternal because of the platforming?

Yikes that might be one of the dumbest arguments I've ever heard for not liking a game xD
I'm not going to engage in a flame war with the likes of you. That's my reason and I stand by it.

it's not an argument, it's their personal opinion, and that's OK.

Correct.

I'll never understand this, the platforming was easy & added flavour to the game.
