iD made this game. Doom is iD's franchise from back in the '90s. Bethesda has its own Bethesda studio (Todd Howard runs Bethesda studio) and for this game, Bethesda is just acting a publisher. The reason why ID the developer and the publisher are the way they are is because like I said above, all of them are under Microsoft umbrella.
Seriously though, learn some things. This is the first id game produced after the Microsoft purchase of id/Bethesda. Assuming they kept their hands off development I think we'll be getting similar production to the last two Doom games.
id worked with Avalanched Studios on the development of Rage 2. But they are credited working together.
The bar gets buried a little lower. Congrats...not an easy feat here.
It's your lose, ID have a track record of making amazing polished games.
Crazy, isn’t it, how a publisher and a developer studio are not one and the same in spite of sharing a name?
I wouldn't say they are good at making them either. They haven't made a good game since X360. So I guess they are good at not fixing games and bad at making good games.
