So you hope it's more like some Doom and not that Doom, got it.
Prepare for disappointment.
im ready for it to be bad and will only try on bargain bin prices
Dont forget, no pre order, wait until first reviews are out.
Didn't wanna say this on your main account then.
A confusing statement since 2016 is just a clumsy and messier version of Eternal really. Needless to say I think the mechanics will be pretty tight in TDA, especially at higher difficulties - which isn't like 2016 at all.
i disagree 2016 was more fps adventure story whereas eternal was more arcadey and mario jumping
The worst part of Doom 2016 was the "adventure story" of feared legendary demigod demonslayer failing to catch crippled woman because of long-winded mansplaining in daddy robot's office.
The story in D2016 was pure ♥♥♥♥, and the difference between it and Eternal was that in several places it tried to pretend like it didn't know that.
But you can see the difference when you turn on DLAA in "Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart". You can also try turning on DLAA in "DOOM: The Dark Ages", but the prerequisite is that the computer requirements are very high...( ˘•ω•˘ )
You said that the overall game screen is bright and the style is "more realistic". If you feel that the game screen is poor, it may be different from the screen style you like.( ̄ω ̄;)Ummm…
the worst part of nu doom story is that an emphasis on majestry of the feared legendary demigod demonslayer persona was not heavy enough. i hope this time doomguy's personal castle will be filled with paintings and tapestries of Himself, and huge golden statues of Him naked stand galore, there should be a demon choir singing Him litanies, the collectibles should be the demonette groupies whom He can interact with between missions, and every level starts with demons doing a roundelay dance around Him begging to spare them and then scattering around the place as He goes to seek them.
and yes, an enormous lore library filled with chronicles of His deeds, and a full-scale dungeon prison with a torture chamber where He practices glory kills.
thus way we will finally see how badass He is, and properly enjoy ourselves by association
Uh ok, just as long as we're not supposed to believe someone who can barely walk escapes his grasp, or at least that the story elements can't immediately be skipped if so.
