probably, eternal was supported for over 2 years and recently got official mod support too, i'm sure we'll get master levels, horde mode, too

id really love an event system like eternal had, its great having an incentive for people to keep casually playing to unlock cosmetics and such. Especially with the lack of weapon skins so far.

I think it will come up when the campaign DLC hits, probably got more monsters in that DLC we didn't see in the base game.
