I'm not diggin the mechs.
I always played DOOM because it's a fast run and gun game. Playing in a slow Mech and flying around on a dragon is an annoying part of this game. I just stopped playing at the dragon level.

Just like the dragon sections it’s clearly not the main focus. It was presented as quick distractions to chill out between intense levels of pure ripping and tearing madness.

The dragon stuff is kind of dumdum controller play, but it is over quickly so you can race through it and just enjoy the spectacle. Also the FPS sections you go between (probably just after the part where you stopped) are quite nice, so it is worth carrying on imo.

Are there more chapters with them?

Oh boy here comes another one. Jesus.....those mech levels are so short. You can complete them in 8-10 min max. Stop whining for nothing my gosh.........
Be patient, the time you can "use" the mecha is very short and will soon be over.

I thought the dragon was a great way to have some distraction from the main campaign. It's not meant to have super-deep gaming mechanics. Thought it was actually quite fun.

People just love to complain...

Thank god you don't have to fly around much. Half of the dragon level is played on foot too anyways. But yeah that was a strange design decision from the devs.
- slow ass ♥♥♥♥ boring < SNES godzilla games mech combat
- clunky (like everything else) ♥♥♥♥ dragon flight missions
- eternal had a few underwater sections but at least you could dash (every direction but up...), dark ages thinks those were the best parts of eternal and made 40% of the second half underwater missions where you slowly swim from A to B 50 times per chapter
- every single boss in this game can casually be beaten on any difficulty and any modifier without ever touching your keyboard

clair obscur, here comes doom for the GOTY spot

He literally criticized the dragon stuff, then you call him a bot.

You're a real cool guy huh.
