Save transfer from GP to Steam?
Is there a way to transfer the save? I already finished the game in GamePass but I want to save the "SavedGame" so that in the future, when the game lowers it's price, I could just continue to finish all that I have left.

So far I know the save is here:
C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Local\Packages\BethesdaSoftworks.ProjectTitan_3275kfvn8vcwc\SystemAppData\wgs\

But I don't know if I just need it like it is or to do some kind of conversion

Gamepass applications run under what is called Universal Windows Platform. What this means is that all files are protected/semi-encrypted and walled off from normal interactions with Windows. Gamepass versions of games are effectively designed not to be inter-operable with the normal versions of games, on purpose.

Microsoft intends to implement this technology widely in order to take control of the PC platform, and basically take ownership of the PC away from the user, giving it to themselves.

It is why I do not bother with Gamepass or MS Store anything. My version of Windows actually can't even run Gamepass because it's a totally stripped down corporate version.

If you are local administrator you can always bypass this. I bet save files have the same format, why would they need to be different. Topicstarter just has to find these files and give himself an access. With the chance of breaking UWP subsystem.
Why would you like to stain Steam files with a gamepass files. Windows game pass folder once created cannot be deleted. Evet format wont delete the folder. It is digitial cancer which cant be removed.

I don't think you can. UWP doesn't care if you are local admin. That's the point of it. To take away your ability to be the admin of your own computer.

If they're encrypted, good luck

Local admin allows you to override any permissions on your local file systems. You can make yourself an owner of UWP directory and get access. Encrypted by what? There is no disk encryption, since UWP just uses your normal disks. Each file inside are individually encrypted? For what? That doesn't make any sense.

When discussing technologies you don't know about, scoffing is from the 1900s. Today we look things up

UWP has been deprecated for a long time. Basically every game pass game released in the last few years has been built using Microsoft's Game Development Kit:

OP it is likely technically possible, but Windows Store/game pass games tend to have save files in a proprietary format.

There's a utility here that can convert saves for some GP games:
https://github.com/Z1ni/XGP-save-extractor

If you request Doom TDA it might happen

touche, but the on-demand single file encryption is nonetheless still available, and is one of the reasons that trusted computing platform was implemented
