Either way I'm still wondering if there's similar enemies in this game.
I'm really not trying to mock anybody else's enjoyment with this game, or make any kind of point with my question. I'm not going to demand that they change the game to suit me. If people want to judge me, okay whatever, but I'm trying to get the information needed to decide whether I want to play this or not. It's a pretty straightforward question. I ask if someone can just let me know, and I can see myself out.
It’s kinda hard to answer your question because you exaggerate so much. For example, in TDA there are enemies which you are really supposed to party. Does that count as “killing them with one weapon”? Or “forcing you to fight them a certain way”, perhaps? There are still blue shield guys, but now you can throw your shield to make them explode.
I didn't intend to exaggerate, I don't know if the game got updated since the time I played it and now, but the memory I have is that those Stone imps could only be killed with one weapon (I think I knew you could kill them with the chainsaw but I think you can kill just about anything except for bosses with the chainsaw, and that's not really an effective use of that weapon). I could be wrong, I just remember they were more irritating than fun in my personal opinion.
For the parrying enemies, as long as you can still shoot them to death then that counts as having more than one way to kill them. Like parrying might be the best way to kill them, but they'll still take damage from other attacks. The impression I'm getting from your response is that this game does not have the problem that bothered me in eternal.
