game is still crashing for no reason
does anyone have a fix for this?

sorry, frustrated after a week of no actual fixes from the devs or nvidia. I have Gigabyte 4070 super, AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3d, 32 gig ram, win 10, graphics 576.42(thought the update from the one last week that caused the issues would fix it... it did not)

Listen, when you have crashing issues it is very helpful to post your specs. For example. I am using a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, coupled with an RX 6950 and 32GB of Ram on Win 11. Graphics drivers 25.5.1

I hear the recent video drivers from NVIDIA are causing crashing. Get 566.36 which are still being credited as the best drivers for a long time. They are 5 months old but are very stable.

Try these drivers https://www.guru3d.com/download/geforce-56636-whql-driver-download/

game will not run on these drivers, you have to have the latest. game is just bugged, it was released to soon

I am also having crashing issues, my game won't even startup at all. I have an ASUS RTX 4080 Super GPU, AMD 5900X CPU. I had to install the updated driver before I could play (I haven't tried playing Doom before today). The new NVIDIA driver seems like it has issues. It had a really hard time installing for me (my computer screens went blank and I had to hard restart my computer) so I installed the newest driver manually, but Doom still crashes. I don't have an integrated GPU like one of Id's troubleshooting steps suggested, so I can't turn it off.

Do you have to have the latest drivers? I have had a similar pop up upon launching games and they still worked. Give it a try

Try turning off async compute in the games graphics options. Solved all the crashes I was having.

Yeah, i feel your pain. i refund my copy. I've no time and patients to search for endless solutions to get a game to run correctly thats poorly optimized.
