-If applicable, disable Mobo onboard GPU,
-Perform a proper DDU uninstall, then try the Studio Drivers.
-Optimize & de-bloat Windows to free up unneeded CPU processes
-Try windows version 23H2. (24H2 Windows was really buggy on my rig).
Hardware:
-check CPU & GPU thermals/cooling
-check GPU proper power supply for a 3070 650W PS recommended)
Running DA very well with RTX-2080Ti + 9800x3d.
Said they were on Win 10, latest driver. Ryzen 5 5600 or something. Low GPU w/high CPU.
If you search " only half usage of 4060ti " it should come up.
people telling you to uninstall drivers and stuff have no idea what they are talking about. Doesn't even make any logical sense.
I did almost all of those things, except for the Windows version 23H2.
The thermals are good (80° at max 100%)
The voltages are also good, the processor is working at it's fullest, and my PSU is 650 80+ Bronce so it shouldn't be that in the first place.
Thank you for you comment tho.
that is not how anything works. You don't understand the computer.
I stream, i can't stream with 100% CPU Usage... It shouldn't be at 100% (And just in case, yeah, the 100% is without streaming or having anything in the background). My Ryzen 7 5700x shouldn't be a bottleneck when i only need stable 60fps.
There's a lot of people saying that the game is not that CPU heavy, and i know someone with a Ryzen 5 5500 that the game only uses 70% at most.
The processor shouldn't be at 100%.
Anyway, thank you for your response.
My 24H2 issues on were on 2 different AMD mobos: Gigabyte & Asus 870i with same cpus.
YMMV. Both locked to 23H2 using Gpedit until eol.
I see, just saw it. It seems that the guy still haven't got a proper solution. Is such a Niche problem i guess. The thing is that it is also in a Ryzen 5000, could be the same problem... I hope he gets a solution as well, is so frustrating.
Hit CNTRL+SHIFT+ESC to bring up the task manager to see how much of your GPU it's using. You want your GPU to be as high as possible. If it's:
1. Showing at 0% then get into your PC, reseat it by pressing on the two latches that snap when securing the GPU, take it out, inspect it looking for any discoloration or anything odd, then carefully reseat it it's slot making sure you hear the snapping.
2. Showing around 50% then in game, crank up the graphics so that the game is relying on your GPU as much as possible. Then check task manager to see if that brought your CPU usage down.
If youre hitting 100% cpu and 95%+ GPU, then take a look at your processes to see what's hogging up all your CPU.
Report back what you discover. Also let us know more details about your system specs. Mobo, ram, how many monitors, what apps you have running while gaming etc, we don't need the full list, just anything there's heavy.
I did crank up the graphics, i tried every combination of them, from ultra nightmare to very low. The maximum i could get from the GPU is like 30-40%. The CPU usage doesn't get down in any means, it just 100% almost all the time no matter what, going to 95% very briefly.
I have 32gb ram ddr4 3200mhz (in one channel... but that doesn't seem to be the problem), my monitor is a Xiaomi G24i, my motherboard an Asus Prime A520M-K. I tried running nothing in the background (yeah, not even discord or things like that), doom is like 95% of the total usage.
Ah, and i have the game in an SSD, i tried in another SSD and in an HDD so is not that.
Also check energy saver options and make sure that's not on.
Beyond that try chatgpu, describe your symptoms, and provide your system specs then follow what it suggests.
