PC Gamepass save game transfer to Steam - is it possible?

I just found out I have 3 months of free gamepass, so I will be playing this and Expedition 33.

Will I be able to transfer the save game for Doom The Dark Ages from PC Gamepass to the Steam version that I will likely buy at some point?

EDIT -- That's what I found online but the folder for game pass doesn't appear to have save game data in it(?) but I could be wrong or it's a very small file.

Yeah, I don't see any save game data in there. Only configuration files.

Must be saved somewhere else.
