Did you play TDA? There's a definite SS vibe to one of the enemies
Out of interest, Serious Sam 4 is currently just below Doom TDA on percent positive Steam reviews (83 to 87) and way behind on Metacritic (68 to 86).
Legion system is fake.
Mechs in SS4 are boring, tedious and overstay their welcome.
BFG > Cannon.
SS4 is 5 years old, looking like it came out 15 years ago, and runs like it will be released 10 years in the future.
Multiplayer in any SS game is more dead than multiplayer in TDA.
SS4 can be fun if you ignore all the useless stuff they added in to "inovate".
