Serious Sam 4 is better than doom the dark ages aye lmaooo

Why? its simple:
Serious Sam 4 does not have ray tracing, it has dynamic lighting instead very cool (and still less optimized than dark ages but its part of the game's charm and challenge)
serious sam 4 has more enemies it even features the legion system!!! it is present in the games first 1 minute and games last 10 minutes you vs 100.000 enemies at the same time on the screen! Unbeliavable
game introduced mech sections that doom dark ages copied 5 years or did it as an omage idk
game has a literal gun that shots canons itas awesome
the story is great and not terrible at all
serious sam 4 doesnt cost 80 bucks plus it is made by europeans
serious sam 4 lets you choose multiple palyer models each has its own pair hands!
serious sam 4 is more fun

matter of taste i guess...sometimes indie games can have more charm than triple AAA. but i wouldnt put them in the same basket. Serious sam 3 for instance was made by 12 people only xd seriosu sam 4 had like 40 person team lmao

I can't vouch for Serious Sam 4, and OP is of course welcome to their opinion.

Out of interest, Serious Sam 4 is currently just below Doom TDA on percent positive Steam reviews (83 to 87) and way behind on Metacritic (68 to 86).

i have yet to play it, i wanted to but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 80 euros is just a lot. I can get it, but honestly i do not want to support this business practise. So i will get it on a big fat sale. But yeah i noticed some simillarities with serious sam

SE's lighting has a one line of code.
Legion system is fake.
Mechs in SS4 are boring, tedious and overstay their welcome.
BFG > Cannon.
SS4 is 5 years old, looking like it came out 15 years ago, and runs like it will be released 10 years in the future.
Multiplayer in any SS game is more dead than multiplayer in TDA.
SS4 can be fun if you ignore all the useless stuff they added in to "inovate".
