Maybe I've been lucky, but zero crashes, zero stutter so far.
Yeah, that wasn't helpful. While I keep reading about Nvidia driver problems recently, there are also tons of people playing TDA on RTX cards without issue. Maybe DDU/reinstall?
AMD, try the officially recommended 25.4.1
My GPU driver is 572.83, it is stable for me, you can try it
I also enabled Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling based on a recommendation from the Doom website. It is a toggle found in Windows, Settings>Display>Graphics Settings. No idea if this had any effect or even what it is for exactly but it was the only other thing I changed and I just finished playing for about an hour with no crashing.
I also played a good bit of the first part of the game on rog ally x and all I had to to do there was update the drivers and tweek the settings.
Zero crashes on RTX 4090 + 13900KF on 576.40 (same on my Core Ultra 275HX + RTX 5090 laptop - same driver).
And I finished the game (I played half one one machine and the other half on the other machine). For me, on the laptop, the Nvidia/RTX Overlay was either preventing the game from starting or crashing/exiting the game in the main menu.
