Does this game get any faster?

I have been playing it via game pass & so far I have failed to find it challenging. It feels way too slow, even with the difficulty cranked up. I am aware I can modify game speed in the settings but that just speeds up the entire game…? For a DOOM game this feels very very tame, does it improving at any point or is this kinda it?

My dude need to push the speed to 150% and crank every difficulty setting to max. If it’s still a breeze, challenge yourself—go one-handed or throw on a blindfold!

If it's still too easy, try it with no sound, monitor turned off and with your feet.
