Also TDA's nightmare is easier than every other Doom's nightmare. It is the easiest DooM
Right now, I'm playing TDA on Nightmare and it's a good difficulty for me (no modifiers). From my experience overall, I'd argue it is easier, but it's not like they made it a baby mode. I'm still dying a good bit.
I would also add that Imps NEVER throwed Red Electro Snakes at you
They threw FireBalls
I did think UV was too easy and upgraded to Nightmare halfway through the game tbf.
fyi no slayer gates sad(1 slayer gate is harder then anything in this game)
still a great doom tho loving it so far
The game seems to have been balanced around the hardest settings, but it is not imposing them onto you. I hate that Id and the common gaming crowd saw Eternal challenge as a detriment when it was one of the better aspects of the game.
In other words, Super Gore Nest Master Level was the coolest thing I have ever experienced in a videogame.
