How do you get to it? the door wont open and the little veiwport doesn't seem to reveal anything.

You need to pull the battery from the other Atlan first to unlock the door, if that's the one you're talking about.

It opens when you get the core for the mech.

That level can be irritating in that lots of doors around the level open after interacting with something to progress the level.

Thanks, I was getting paranoid because I unknowingly went past a point of no return for a secret on another level and missed like 5 gold.
