Save Transfer

Completed game on PC gamepass , i'f I buy on steam will my progress transfers from gamepass ? I linked bethesda account to steam and gamepass.

Doubt it, but it is possible to transfer files, but it's a pain to do.

Had the same question except opposite, Steam to PC GamePass... crickets so far. Found the Steam save but can't seem to find the GP save, even though I'm looking in the spot where I see the other Doom game saves (which Google helped with).

Edit: Actually I just realized your question is a bit different. The short answer is no, progress doesn't transfer... which is silly considering it's connected to Bethesda.net you think it would have it's own cloud save. But yeah, this is why I'm trying to figure out how to manually copy saves from one another above.

Can you tell me what the process for transfering my game pass save to steam is?
ive found both saves but the ones on steam only say .dat I dont know what should I do, is it even possible, theres no way to save the game manually only auto
