Former is possible, latter, well, I'm proud to be called mid-tier.
But no, go play Doom Eternal NOW, it's awesome, but far more flawed that the community seemingly remembers.
COD of Dooms? But you just walk and shoot in Dark Ages. You got it backwards bud.
This SINGLE sentence almost invalidates everything.
I was very good at Quake, Quake II and Quake III. Online, playing in tournaments that mattered with people that mattered. Doom Eternal is the most intense single player FPS experience, though not my favorite. I presume if you want a slower experience, you probably do not have the same history.
-Superior OST as well

Lol, he dared use objectively.
THIS is exactly why Doom Eternal left a bad taste in my mouth. I hated the rotation of chainsaw / melee / fire thrower to keep fueled. Just thought that was dumb mechanic. I preferred Doom 2016 over Eternal actually. Was wondering is this game was like Eternal or not. Sounds like there may be enough that I would like to give id another shot.
Why? It's such a good mechanically upgrade
