Anyways to all you whiny poor people complaining "Why am I forced to play this on medium at 1080 on a card that runs the last game at native 4k?" or "Why does my card sound like a jet engine!" or "Holy crap my power bill is through the roof" I have some advice on how to stop being stupid, ugly and poor that I got from Hustlers university!

1. Stop being poor!
Poor people money is ugly and gross. Everyone hates poor people cause they are ugly and stupid and poor! In the bible Jesus says "Poor people can go to hell" or something like that. Dunno, never read his book, too long.

2. Pay for course to learn to be rich
you might think people get rich by saving, investing and maintaining the things they own while practicing strict discipline over self control.
That is why you are stupid ugly and poor.

3. It is your duty to buy the newest graphics card so you can spend $80 on this game
And no Intel graphics cards don't count!
If you are crying cause you Nvidia can only run this on medium at 720p, it's your fault. You did this! Why would you do this! There is no excuse! apologize for being poor and stupid right now!

4. A standard edition isn't good enough.
Oh I'm sorry, last I checked only cry baby brokies are THE STANDARD. You need to get the best version around! What extras does it have? Who cares! You think a girl is gonna hook up with you if you show her your steam library and sees just a standard copy?

5. Get a Bughati
I mean, if you can't play this in a Bughati are you even playing it?

Even if I know that this thread is just a joke, is there anything you want to talk about regarding your problem with the game's price?

The price:
In my opinion, we should not be concerned with pricing policy. The developer and publisher can ask for any amount they wish. If they think enough people will buy it for given price x, then they were correct in their assessment.

If you - the gamer - decide it's worth the price, both sides will be happy.

There is no law that developers must make sure, you - the gamer - will have access to their title, no matter how much you want to play it.

Ray tracing:
Implementing ray tracing into a game and forcing the players to own a certain GPU is also their decision. I remember times, when my PC was to weak to play Doom (1993) in fullscreen. Or when computer games began demanding a dedicated 3D GPU, because software mode just couldn't handle it. From time to time the bar gets set to a new standard.

In the end it's just a game and you're not missing out on anything important in life.
We are so used to getting everything and instantly nowadays, that sometimes being reminded that some things are out of reach for a certain period of time for us (like a "Bughati"... to broke to spell it right :-D) hurts us.

60fps on max settings without DLSS or framegen at 4k? Eternal could do better than that on worse hardware and looked better to boot
