Siege Part 2 Softlock

During the Siege Part 2 mission, there's a part where you have to break a chain with your shield to drop a platform to climb up to progress the level. Inside this platform is a pile of gold you'll spot if you turn around before it drops completely.

I panicked when I saw the gold dropping, so I attempted to reach it before it lowered completely, which resulted in me falling in the empty space below the platform. When I respawned, the platform was raised again, but the chain to lower it was still broken. Restarting at Checkpoint does not fix it, so the only option is to replay the level.
