And thanks for helping out those of us how art broke and could only get a GPU which Nvidia didn't give enough RAM too. Because the writing's been on the wall since the 1000 series that 8GB was going to end up the minimum for GPU memory.
Fortunately I am not in this camp, unfortunately my 3070 TI only has 8GB of memory, because Nvidia is going to Nvidia lawl.

Huh, that shouldn't be the case, try GPUZ, it should show how much RAM the GPU has access to. Though it might be the case that the GPU actually has access to the system memory, though usually that only applies to IGPU's on CPU dies.
Also, in game, in the graphical settings, you should be able to see how much VRAM the game can access. If it's 8GB it'll show 7GB due to windows reserving 1GB. Something it's done for decades now :P
