wow, that theory is true.
SPOILERS



doom guy is dead. he really did die. i was not expecting that twist near the end. the doom guy we play in the modern dooms is a rebirthed undead doom slayer. wtf LOL. we doing fan theories as canon now? ok then.

he literally awoke from a coffin didnt he? im not surprised at all. time has passed between the events so obviously he reincarnated or something

nah, he was sealed there by a trap inside a temple from the lore logs. he was at least back then, not killed. seems in the dark ages, he does die though. so his reincarnated undead self was indeed in that box lel.
