Is FSR 3 and Frame Gen broken?
My specs are a 5950x and a 3090. Which seems to be a potato lately...and the game just runs so terribly even on medium to lower settings. Sure I can get like 60-70fps but you need the full 120 at least for a game like this IMO. I guess it definitely needs frame gen which it shows that it's 120fps but it looks like it's running at 30fps. Is a fix coming? Seems most modern games really need the frame gen lately.

Yeah it says FSR FG is active but it feels like the base frame rate it’s generating off of, needs to be fixed because 3.1FG is really smooth on other games

Ugh. I really wanna play it. Their games are usually so well optimized right out the gate. Strangely the app "Lossless Scaling" frame gen is working but it like doubles the lag time and isn't as smooth as regular frame gen built into the game.

I noticed this as well, I have it running at 120fps and I was like "why does this feel like ♥♥♥♥?" I tested frame gen in other games to make sure I wasn't tripping out and TDA definitely has something wrong

Use Nvidia Reflex, it fixes the latency issue. I was using LS, until I got the FSR FG mod working with DLSS. FSR seems to be bugged though, as it feels like 30fps
Just me or would fake generated frames not help input latency at all? The game needs to process inputs.

GPU generated fake frames might make things look smoother but will have no effect on inputs. Or maybe a placebo effect at best ... :steamfacepalm:
pitiful, absolutely pitiful and unacceptable that they STILL havent fixed fsr frame generation in this title. Just played a minute ago and its still busted; reduces the baseline fps more than lossless scaling and adds no motion smoothness at all. billion dollar company as well lmao.

Have you turned on AMD's "Anti-Lag" and turned off VSync?
This technology is a technology to reduce latency.

Although FG generation will increase FPS, it requires calculating the image between two FPS, and these images need to be calculated in advance (the increase in behavior will increase latency), and the delayed output of the picture will look like a stutter, and the display is too slow to match the screen display time.

Dude, it’s busted. Stop trying to explain away poor implementation of FG. It looks fine in any other title that supports it.
