5080 Frame generation not selectable?
with a 5080 I have DLSS on, set to quality, but the frame generation selection is grayed out? anyone else have this issue or know how to make it selectable?

EDIT: had to turn on HAGs in windows, Display settings -> graphics settings -> turn on hardware acceleration

Using one too and no, it works for me. Do use DLSS plus DLAA and Frame Gen 3x. Not greyed out. Nvidia update?
I'm in the same boat with a 5080 as well. I have tried manually activating it in the nvidia app but it does not allow it to work in the game either. I have scoured forums to see if anyone has a fix, so maybe it's on Nvidia to update?

Works normally with 5090, I am also playing on game pass

Here's an RTX 40 (4060) user. Same problem. I have updated drivers: 576.40, I've also noticed it happening in GamePass.

Same here. DLSS on and Frame Generation greyed out -
and since RayTracing is forced I am only getting 55fps on 4k.

Why would you play this game on gamepass with a 5090? Its free with all 5090s lol.

Did it work for you when you did the steps?

Guys, indeed.
It was hardware acceleration. Enable it and the frame generation option will be enabled. :steamhappy:

Not everyone waited to buy a card until that bundle offer was there. I bought the 5080 a week after release and its not bundled.

How do you handle or deal with tearing, vsync etc? I cannot get the game to run properly with FG. This means even with Vsync enabled in either driver or game it will result in either 155 fps- over monitor refresh rate OR 120fps with severe input lag. Normally in ALL my other FG games. I enable vsync in driver and reflex in game and the game should run at 116 fps with no input lag or tearing. But no matter what Doom wont do this. I cannot play it with tearing and if useing a frame cap myself also input lag. We all know that capping FG is bad. So I used 8 horus of trouble shooting with no luck. Doom Reflex simply won co-operate with Nvidia Driver V sync to generate the 116fps. Besides ingame Vsync only works when FG is disabled?! So currently I have to play with DLSS QUALITY and no FG. This mostly can run at 120fps but has drops often to 100-120fps.. But there is NO input lag and overall great experience! Only thing is that GPU is at 85-100% all the time @ 450-500Watt.! This is on a 5090! SO I really wanted FG to work but rather the 500W than tearing or input lagg! Optimal I wamt to run the game at DLAA with 2X FG. But again the game wont respect the refresh rate or vsync and just pumps frames over 120 limit to cause tearing.
