Stuck on The Forsaken Plains

I'd gotten past that Cyberdemon battle and my next objective is at the second to last hell canon I believe, the one with the obese (Kreed) Maykr statue

When I stomp my way into that tower, nothing happens

There's supposed to be a jump pad to take me up the tower and destroy the canon, but there isn't so I can't progress the mission

I've already tried starting from a checkpoint and starting from the menu

I got softlocked on this level; cleared both cannons and killed all demons, the area with the wraith stone is supposed to unlock; it did not.
Guessing you had to restart?

That's the only way I've figured out you can fix this problem, I'm not mad though cause it's a genuinely enjoyable level

I will point out though that the wrath stone area didn't open for me either
