Bring back Mick Gordon.
The music isn't bad, but it's not even close to Eternal or 2016. It's so basic — that's the only thing I don't like about the new Doom.

can't agree, it IS bad
i'm gonna be honnest i had the music cut at somepoint and didn't realized immidiatly, that how bad the music is
Don't hold your breath
Mick Gordon does not want to come back. He and Id/Bethesda had a huge falling out. It's a big saga, but from Mick's point of view, they treated him very poorly and put him under huge amounts of pressure during and after Eternal's development.

If I recall correctly, lawyers were involved but I haven't read anything about this for some time now.

When I play, I constantly imagine how good it could've been if Mick Gordon had worked on it...

worst, he actualy told ID he could provide the entire OST if they gave him like a week or a month i think it was but they flat out refused and tried to paint him as the bad guy in this situation

Yep I know... And that's so sad.

I honestly prefer the old music so much more

It feels like the music is non-existent in this game, but I haven’t tried adjusting the volume yet

Music is mediocre as mediocre can be. Mixing needed.

DOOM loosing Mick Gordon is like Halo loosing Marty O'Donnell, a damn shame.
No, don't bring back Mick Gordon. The company treated him like ♥♥♥♥ and doesn't deserve him.
It sucks to see Finishing Move miss the mark with Doom this hard cause I really enjoyed their work on Borderlands 3. With this game their work isn't awful but it's so insanely forgettable that I actually can't remember a single track from memory, or even identify where a specific song from the soundtrack plays when listening to it on its own.

THIS
I had to put myself music to 100% because I couldn't hear it at first... But the music should be at least at 150% baseline in a Doom game
And TES6 will be without Jeremy Soule. I bet Modders will just replace all new music with old tracks.
Bethesda is doing everything to screw their games.
Even Konami is smart enough to keep Akira Yamaoka in all SH games.
