Game-pass once again saving me from wasting money on overpriced disappointment's.

Why the hell did they all but remove glory kills? I've seen maybe 10 and I'm on level 8, that's 1.2 executions a level, which is pathetically disappointing. I understand people had criticisms about them breaking the flow of combat, but lazily smacking a hell baron away is ridiculous. It totally removes all the lovely catharsis of ripping a troublesome enemy to shreds, horrible decision imo.

The mech and the dragon are pretty boring to use as well, the game could've totally done without them, and the giant "open world" maps feel like a proper chore to get a clean sweep on and has you backtracking constantly for secrets. Only weapons that feel fun to use so far are the shotgun (hard to mess that one up) and the nail gun (only the full auto mode though) the plasma is underwhelming compared to the previous instalments. You can pretty much kill everything with relative ease on nightmare with just the shotgun, nail gun and constantly tossing your shield with the odd bash added.

And the music, it's so generic and forgettable, biggest mistake they made was loosing Mick Gordon.

There are glory kills, it's just not the same as before.

Demons can get their limbs blown off and still try to fight you with what they have left which is a nice touch.

Theyre not bugged. Takes an extra button push to execute them now. 99% of the time you just have no skills.

Yeah that's the only one I've seen outside of the scripted ones on mini bosses where you pull their heart out. Also there was only 1 glory kill in that whole fight, which falls in line with my observation that there is a major lack in them. So far it seems that there are no glory kills for imps and incubus's, just the knights and bosses.

This isn't Call of duty where you play the same game for 20 years. Every nuDoom game plays differently and thank God for that.
