Yah man I feel the same way. I'm pretty disappointed and hopefully they can release a patch. Not worth the hassle for a $70 game. Should be optimized.
I've got 3060 on my laptop.
The indirect lighting render pass is simply missing from the picture, completely ruining the atmosphere and in many cases gameplay as well. It's funny because otherwise it runs at 60fps at 1080p with medium settings.

Download the files from this link. Paste in main game directory. Voila problem solved.
This issue only happens with laptop 6gb cards as they dont give entire 6gb as vram instead they give around 5.8-5.9gb. These files spoof the vram and makes the game think that it is getting 6.1gb vram which results in the RT being turned on automatically.
To confirm if it worked just put the performance metrics option to medium and check if RT:On is showing or not. In game in the first level also it should make all the dark areas clearly visible now as the rtgi starts working. This tanks fps a bit. From stable 70-80 fps I went to 55-60fps on ultra preset only shadows set to medium, dlss quality. Hope this helps.
Sadly it has only gone from 5.1 to 5.2. I don't understand why I have so little since I got 6GB vram, nonetheless this seems to be the solution.
