I love the new Doom games.
But I'm not paying $70. Never have, never will.

No, you're definitely the problem with game prices if you're allowing companies to raise them. No two ways about it. It's something that Gen Z (and a large chunk of Millennials) don't understand: they are the problem with corporations running away with price increases because they keep throwing whatever price the corpos ask at them.
This game will be ten bucks in two years. PC gaming isn't console gaming, we have backlogs. :approved:

games cost more then ever to make its gone up 10 bucks in 25 years in the uk that not alot get over it

I'll buy a $60 game I'm excited for on day one. Any more than 60 and I'm waiting for a 50% off sale or gamepass.

No they don't. Wages haven't increased and they use more WYSIWYG programs and AI to do their work than ever before.

no its fact inflation has happened devs get payed more prettier games and bigger worlds cost more dev time takes like 4 or 5 years a game now meaning more money gets spent simple maths really, and people need to stop saying they use ai when you have no idea what your talking about
