yo dude, i even won't purchase it later. i'd love to, but bethesda prohibits their games in my region, so being rich doesnt help.
whatever, if they don't want my money i will torrent a repack like i had to do with eternal.
what, do you think i'll just stand there and take it?
good riddance i played the original dead space back in the day, and remakes suck in general anyway, so i dont feel missing out on this one
we still can purchase redeem keys or gifts on shady markets though, but it is literal paying to the pirates like we had to do back in 90's buying the bootleg disks
hey, bethesda, stop cancelling us humble gamers! we did nothing wrong and you rob us of opportunities to be the good guys!
you guys are totally not mad expecting him to compose for Doom once more
I agree.
Been playing the new Doom 1+2 re-release and the updated music is nothing like NuDoom and it's a good fit I think. So honestly, not even sure they need to be able to shred - just create some cool atmosphere and riffs that work with the action.
MG's usage of distorded guitar was cool in 2016 and Eternal but it could get stale.
There's also Aubrey Hodges' more atmospheric ost for Doom PSX and 64 but it's a matter of fans (I am fine with 64 but I prefer og Doom over PSX) as well as TNT Evilution's OST which is closer to Doom 1&2 but are still different.
I miss atmospheric tracks as well (even for combat).
My personal favourite https://youtu.be/h5n83huX2W8?si=bmS5jXMn4HjMadRF
Shame that the level design was lacking in some parts. Plutonia on the other hand had better levels (despite some being taken from Doom II like Slayer being O of Destruction) but had awful enemy placement (who thought that having an Archvile in Map 01 was a good idea?).
I liked the idea of Plutonia having these "special teleporters" that made the wad feels unique whereas TNT felt like Doom 2.5 in its presentation.
There was also a drama about "paid mod" that people were thinking of when Final Doom had TNT in the last hour.
Anyway, I still think that Perdition's Gate is the best "third Final Doom Megawad" and that Icarus Alien Vanguard is the better Team TNT Mwad (and I can at least be thankful they created Boom which really changed the life of sourceports).
