Ukrainian localization

Dear developers and publishers, we understand that adding Ukrainian localization is difficult, expensive and requires a lot of time and money, but please, from the bottom of all Ukrainians' hearts, please add Ukrainian Localization. I, like a bunch of other Ukrainians, would like to play an incredible and driving shooter in the Ukrainian language. Thanks for reading, Id Software, you are the best

So what's the matter? We just want to play games in our language. Greek and Ukrainian languages are not worldwide spread, that's the reason why we should call out to developers if we need localization. Let's not offend each other.

If Greek community wants Greek localization - they should post threads like this. As mentioned above, it is not whining, or threat or smh like that. It's just a request that can be approved or denied by devs, but in any case, they will see that adding certain localization is needed by this or that regional community.

As i say above, it was not in my intentions to offend any Ukrainian friend.

Honorable developers, I hope you understand that we as Ukrainians, as any people, will be very grateful for your recognition and support. If you are seriously reading this thread - we appreciate that fact already. We want world’s attention, but we obviously don’t want to offend anyone. It would be really nice if you find it possible to add our language in the game without much hassle for yourself. Such little things - that’s what makes a difference.

I’m very disappointed by so many humiliating comments from russians, seeing people spreading hatred and ethnic slur in ordinary gaming communities where we share our common passion - is heartbreaking. I don’t know why they are this way - it is still as weird to me as when their violent invasion started. Maybe here are just immature teenagers who seek confrontation and self-affirmation.
But this kind of pressure is the exact reason why we have to fight so hard - each in their own way - to isolate ourselves from this toxic inhuman society. And that’s why we ask for any support that other kind people may be willing to give us. We just ask if you can - no begging, crying, threatening, blackmail or other BS - despite what our haters say… Thank you for reading it through ❤️

It’s not even worth engaging with them. They’re doing that act thing we all used to do as teens. I recall acting just like them in games long ago, just feeling the pressures of the world, feeling inadequate so you go online with the hopes of making other people feel your misery too - cause it helps doesn’t it to have others feel the way you do.

It took me going to university to mature past that stage. I discovered wild awesome talents and wrangled them all together in the form of setting up a game studio, etc. meeting my now-wife too… that helped BIG TIME!

I’m just honest I guess, it’s good to show others that you don’t have to live in misery and sadness your whole life. Stepping back seeing all this for what it is: trying to say something funny to a person/about a country going through hardships most people like us in safe countries will never ever feel.

It ain’t new. In the 90’s people would joke about all kinds of atrocities.

But it’s just boring. It’s hard to believe that (most?) of us as teens did the same. I do wonder what they’re all feeling bad about though! Why they put on this act trying to come across as a tough guy.

In a way it’s sweet. (I took a break from pc’s and social internet things like this for a good few years and it’s utterly fascinating to see the “please see me as a large strong e-Hard Guy”.

Because what stops the anti-Ukrainian language argument dead instantly is the following: there are lots of Ukrainians who can’t fight, who have [rightly so] fled the foolish dictator-supporting people (terribly bigoted nazi like country. I can definitely see why you’d want to get far away from that.
