Denuvo Anti-Tamper incorporated in 2025?
Do you guys think Bethesda/id Software will eventually incorporate Denuvo Anti-Tamper DRM by the time the game gets released next year in 2025?

I would say yes, but seeing how Starfield didn’t have denovo upon release, I think there’s a chance Bethesda won’t require it. It’ll probably depend on what ID wants, so 50/50 chance I guess.

I think so, yeah. That's what vast majority of Steam customers are afraid of when it comes to DRM.

absolutely yes. this game will probably be testing out some intense new DRM type that will take pirates 2 extra hours to crack the game.

Highly doubt Denuvo will be used in anyway after last time.

It's Bethesda, there's almost a guarantee that they'll use Denuvo for at least three years. It's dumb as hell, but they'll do it. This is one of the only Microsoft show games that wasn't immediately added to my wishlist because of this.

Bethesda doesn't use Denuvo in the games that they develop, but they always use it in the games that they only publish.

Pretty sure decisions like that are up to publishers.

Off to a bad start.

Do companies even do research anymore? A DRM especially Denuvo isn't gonna stop anything, pirates are gonna crack it no problem not only that it's documented that it impacts performance and hogs so much CPU usage it also will strain SSDs limiting their lifetime, Bethesda is making a huge mistake putting this into the game.

Dead Space Remake still isn’t cracked, IIRC.
Didn't Indiana Jones have Denuvo in the pre-release version, but removed it before launch and acknowledged it was just for the pre-release copies? I think that might end up being the case for this one too.

actually if you knew the scene you would know that denuvo works very very well. Unless the devs make a mistake (non denuvo demo .exe) GOOD LUCK getting anything protected with Denuvo to work without a valid license lol

So, no EMPRESS doesnt have a magic wand. And if you dont know what I am talking about when i say EMPRESS then you're even more clueless than I thought.

But companies know that, they use other third companies to track torrents and know exactly what is getting cracked and what is not. So yeah you can continue to peddle, heck even believe that Denuvo is useless, but smart money already figured this out a long time ago and has been taking full advantage of it (i mean just look at the prices ROFL)
