UE5 has started putting in coding and stuff into its engine that is trying to PUSH inclusitivity and DEI. Only Engine at this point that maybe worth a damn is new Cryengine that hasn't been released yet till Crysis 4 comes out.
I kind of understand what you're getting at though, every engine used in this generation makes similar looking products for some reason, unless the developers do a more stylized art direction.

if id software started using an engine that wasnt idtech, SuperFly wouldnt let them live to see another day.
