Endings?

One of the achievements is for getting all the endings. I've finished the game, but I don't see any obvious way to have different endings. Is it just a matter of losing the court case at the start?

I am fairly sure the endings are Magic Good End, Magic Bad End, Mundane Good End, Mundane Bad End.

Magic endings is achieved by picking primarily the "wizard hat" options, the mundane endings is achieved by picking primarily "fist" options.

I understand how to get a magic vs. a mundane ending, but how do you get a good vs. a bad ending?
