I will be drawing fine for a while then suddenly my lines will stop appearing. My tablet is still sending input. It just isn't drawing anything on screen.

Hmm... care to give some info on your equipment, like PC specs and tablet model?

Also, is there any specific procedure that triggers that effect? Anything at all that you feel might cause the brushes to stop working.

WIndows 8, It's a good laptop. I use a monoprice tablet. I'm not sure what causes it, but I think it might be linked to navigation with the software.

hmm... At the bottom-right corner, you got the option to change how OC detects the pen coordinates. If it's at Tablet, change it to OS, see if that does something.
