this ♥♥♥♥ is bonkers. huion, learn play nice with OC pls
The first time i used it, there is no problem, but the next day, i got this message error when i use my pen. I have search for solution, i have already delete the files in regedit, and that worked, but, today, again this message and when i delete the same files, i have again the message.
I don't know what to do TT_TT
I was having the same issues. I am running Opencanvas on Win 10, and I use a Huion H60pro. I am very good at keeping up to date with the drivers, and it was the Newest drivers downloaded from Huion's site that were not working for me. I contacted both Huion and Opencanvas, unfortunately Opencanvas never responded back, but Huion just told me that it won't work with Opencanvas. The very last thing that I tried was using the old drivers that user Fontes posted in post #13 they can be found at this link : https://www.facebook.com/huion/posts/1603023179917135 Now, these drivers are over a year old, but suprisingly it worked. It's going to be under file name "TabletDriver20..." not Huion.
What I had to do to get it to work was unistall the old huion driver, unistall opencanvas, delete the portalgraphics folder in the regedit, reboot (just to be safe) then I installed the tablet driver, then reinstalled opencanvas, and it worked!
The one thing that I do notice with it, is that sometimes when you open Opencanvas, the pen will register, but all your hotkeys will not be what you programmed. To fix it, I just close out Opencanvas, open the tablet settings, close, then reopen, and that seems to work.
I really hope this works for you, it's such a bummer to think all work can be stopped by one update.
Good luck.
As for being a bummer... well, yeah. But as long as they do what they're supposed to (which is... working), who cares. Also, there are better ways to use hotkeys than to use the tablet's buttons, anyway.
So there, no more weird pop-up. Took a while, but it's all good now!
If it does, it outta be safe.
Downloaded the trial on the other computer that has windows 10 on it and it works well with the tablet. Strangely for some reason the icon that usually pops up on my normal computer when i have the tablet plugged in isn't acting correctly (so the other computer doesn't think a device is plugged in tablet or otherwise)...
Is this a good sign to buy or should i stear clear?
